News \ PSP 3000 Australian Release

Sony Australia have announced that the new model PSP 3000 will be released in Australia on October 16 for an RRP of AU $299.95. Initially the PSP 3000 will only be available as a stand alone console with no bundle information released at this stage. The console will also be available from October in the US for an RRP of USD$169.99.

The PSP 3000 contains the same basic functionality as the PSP Slim & Lite (once known as the PSP 2000) although "the quality of the screen has been advanced to offer crisper colours with more definition when used outside in natural light, plus a built-in microphone has been incorporated."

Sony also announced information regarding the Australian futures of the 160GB PS3, PS3 Wireless keyboard and Play TV here.
