E3 2009: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker revealed

Sony revealed a surprise during the E3 2009 keynote speech, bringing out Kojima to announce Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for PSP.

Not much information was given about the games premises, although a long trailer was shown with some gameplay footage and cutscenes on display.

It is set 10 years after the events of MGS3: Snake Eater and is said to be a true sequel to that title. The game is set in 1974, where a powerful group takes over Costa Rica. Big Boss is seen in the trailer also.

Kojima said he wrote the script and is deeply involved in the games development. It set for release sometime in 2010.
